When I Close My Eyes

I can't sleep! I'm exhausted but my mind just will not hush itself. I did some "thought provoking" questions in order to at least channel some of those brain waves into something less deressing than what I was thinking of. (It didn't really work, it never does.)

66.Who do you think stands between you and happiness?
Me. (and maybe my past)
67.What is the difference between innocence and ignorance?
One is a failure to get something and the other is something that is lost.
68.What is the simplest truth you can express in words?
Life isn’t easy.

69.What gives your life meaning?
I don’t know, honestly. I just know that it means something.
70.Can there be happiness without sadness?  Pleasure without pain?  Peace without war?
No. No. No.
71.What’s the one thing you’d like others to remember about you at the end of your life?
That my intentions are good and my values are strong.
72.Is there such a thing as perfect?
No.
73.To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
Other than God, I’m pretty much the only one responsible for the course of my life. So….
74.What does it mean to be human?
Homosapien is the only requirement of being human.
75.If you looked into the heart of your enemy, what do you think you would find that is different from what is in your own heart?
An inch more selfishness and a handful of morals that differ from my own.
76.What do you love most about yourself?
(Why is this such a hard one to answer?! It literally took me more than 20 minutes to come up with the following sentence!) I both love and hate how stubborn and passionate I am.
(I couldn't find the song I wanted to add here online... but it was The Fire by Chely Wright.)
77.Where would you most like to go and why?
London, cause I’m homesick for a place that isn’t my home.
78.Is it more important to do what you love or to love what you are doing?
Do what you love and you’ll love what you do.
79.What do you imagine yourself doing ten years from now?
I think I’ve jinxed it by wanting it too bad, but I’d hope to have a family by then.

Couldn't find a song for it, but PostSecret never lets me down.
