Phony

80.What small act of kindness were you once shown that you will never forget?

I had a friend risk his job once to turn in a late paper once in college… that was pretty cool.

81.What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?

Driving in the car one day, “Friends in Low Places” came on the radio and all five of us were singing it. My mom turned the radio way down and me and my siblings belted it. Then we all burst into laughter. IT is special because it is a solidifying moment in our family history. We have always been a strong unit, and I love it.

82.Do you own your things or do your things own you?

I own them.

83.Would you rather lose all of your old memories or never be able to make new ones?

Wow. That’s a toughy. I thrive on memories, and there are many people that I can’t make new ones with if I let go of old ones. So I guess, never be able to make new ones.

84.How do you deal with someone in a position of power who wants you to fail?
Cry. No, really, I cry. And then I prove to them why they should have bet on me succeeding.

85.What do you have that you cannot live without?

An amazing family.

86.When you close your eyes what do you see?

Lines of dark, sparkly colors. Is that normal?

87.What sustains you on a daily basis?

Good question. I think that changes every day.88.What are your top five personal values?

1. Loyalty 2. Golden Rule 3. Tolerence 4. Honesty 5. Respect
(although I think they all kind of reflect one another)

89.Why must you love someone enough to let them go?

I should say, because you care about their happiness more than your own…. But…. I think that is crap. Personally, if you love someone, you should never let them go, you should fight for them. If you aren’t willing to try, you don’t really love them.

90.Do you ever celebrate the green lights?

Yes, I get excited when I know I’ll get three in a row on Main Street. =]

91.What personal prisons have you built out of fears?
I don’t speak out as much as I want to for a fear of rocking the boat. But sometimes that is a non issue.
92.What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?
Um… bucket list!
93.Why are you, you?
It’s the environment that molds the mind. John Locke…. That’s why I’m me.
94.If you haven’t achieved it yet what do you have to lose?
I’m always worried I’ll lose my footing if I reach too far.
95.What three words would you use to describe the last three months of your life?
I’m still learning.
96.Is it ever right to do the wrong thing?  Is it ever wrong to do the right thing?
I feel like I’ve already answered this one. Yes, and Yes.
97.How would you describe ‘freedom’ in your own words?
Unencumbered. Empowered by free will and choice.
98.What is the most important thing you could do right now in your personal life?
Fight for what I believe in.
99.If you could ask one person, alive or dead, only one question, who would you ask and what would you ask?
At first, I thought I’d ask Jesus or Buddha how to love without question, but then, I know what each might say. Then, I thought, maybe I’d ask my friend why he killed himself, but it wouldn’t give me peace of mind or change it. So I guess I’d ask my ex if he made the right decision. Again, that wouldn’t matter much though. So… Maybe I just would forfeit the question altogether.
100.If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Music. Children. Loving.

100 - yay
On terrible, terrible, soul-crushing days, I just miss having a soulmate to share the hurt. That's all.

I know that the world is brighter than what we can create.
