Like I Am
The show Friday was great! Sonia Leigh and Blackberry Smoke were the opening acts. Sonia Leigh had some beautiful songs and I love her voice! (Think Melissa Etheridge with a drizzle of twang.) And Blackberry Smoke is my new guilty pleaure! We are talking fine southern rock here. They definitely brought out my bad girl side and I'd totally pay to see them headline!
Of course, The Zac Brown Band was a total treat. After all the drama of tickets being switched around and lost and people dropping out and me wrecking my car on the way and the show being relocated (was that a run-on sentence?) .... The show was SO worth it! He was even better than I remembered! They played my very favorite song I've ever seen live! ("Devil Went Down to Georgia") ZBB's fiddle player = amazing!
I think about you somedays
And the way I would lay and waste a day after day with you
We always go our separate ways
But no one can love you baby the way I do
Keep me in mind
Somewhere down the road you might get lonely
Keep me in mind
And I pray someday that you will love me only

I love Zac Brown. His band was pretty awesome as well, which I fully expected! It was quite the show... and a very long night! I would certainly attend one again. I would even pay for tickets the next time!
